V is for Vino follows host and sommelier Vince Anter as he hits the road to explore wine regions and their people, history, culture, food, and wine topics. The Chile episode, part of the show's 5th season, can currently be seen on YouTube. The Chile episode marks the show's first foray into South America and explores a wine country that is often misunderstood. "Chile was known for so long as a hub for bargain wine," says show host and sommelier Vince, "and while the wines are still bargains, the country as a whole has shifted its focus to higher quality, terroir-driven wines that can even compete with the best from Napa, albeit for 20-30% less.
