Château de Quéribus is the castle on top of the hill you see in the intro shot of the episode, built in the 10th-11th century.
NARBONNE
Narbonne is a hidden gem in the South of France. An old Roman Port and trading town, it's a good home base for exploring the region if you want a smaller city than Montpellier. You can even walk on an ancient Roman road, some of which has been uncovered right in the town square.
LES MAÎTRES DE MON MOULIN
Close to Château de Quéribus, the town of Cucugnan is home to a bakery that serves some of the best bread you'll ever have. It's a trek, but worth it!
L'HOSPITALET BEACH
Owned by Gérard Bertrand, this restaurant is located right on the Mediterranean Sea. It is entirely constructed and then torn down each year! Visit it from May to September and enjoy the sunset and dinner overlooking the "Coast of Roses".

Of course, no visit to Languedoc-Roussillon is complete without tasting at Gérard Bertrand winery, located on the same property as Château l’Hospitalet. You may even catch the man himself hosting tastings or enjoying the vineyards!
LES HALLES DE NARBONNE + CHEZ BEBELLE
The market of Narbonne was voted the best market in France, and you can't visit Languedoc-Roussillon without getting some beef tartar from Chez Bebelle. Just watch your head when you order; flying meat inbound!
CARCASSONNE + COMTE ROGER
Carcassonne is the quintessential medieval castle town and a super popular tourist attraction. While the city is worth a quick stroll, the real gem is the cassoulet, a traditional stew of white beans, pork, duck, and sausage. The best version is made at Comte Roger!

SALT FLATS OF GRUISSAN
No, you're not on the moon. The Salt Flats of Gruissan have a mysterious pink glow in the water from an algae that occurs during the salt-making process. There's also a delicious restaurant and shop on site!
